Full Tilt Poker offers excellent variety, spreading Texas Hold'em, Omaha Hi, Omaha Hi-Lo, Seven-Card Stud Hi, Seven-Card Stud Hi-Lo and Razz. Full Tilt Poker is also one of very few rooms to offer a complete selection of mixed games.

The mixed games include H.A. (Hold'em and Omaha Hi), H.O.R.S.E. (Hold'em, Omaha Hi-Lo, Razz, Seven-Card Stud and Seven-Card Stud Hi-Lo) and H.O.S.E. (Hold'em, Omaha Hi-Lo, Seven-Card Stud and Seven-Card Stud Hi-Lo). These mixed games are rarely spread elsewhere, thus making Full Tilt Poker one of the most diverse poker rooms in the world.

There are No-Limit and Pot-Limit in Hold'em and Pot-Limit in both Omaha variants, while the Stud and Razz games are played in Limit only. The mixed games are played in Limit versions except for H.A., which is Pot-Limit.

The ring-game volume at Full Tilt Poker is very high and somewhat concentrated to low-stakes No-Limit Hold'em, though players are sure to find action at any game they are looking for. Full Tilt Poker has top cash game traffic of 8,500 real-money players at peak hours (June 2007).

The competition at Full Tilt Poker ranges from relatively loose at the micro- and low limits to outright fierce at the high- and ultra-high stakes. In general, the competition is a little tougher than standard whereas the Fixed-Limit games are the toughest. The No-Limit games are slightly softer, but still clearly more difficult to win than at your average online poker room. PokerListings recommends players looking for softer games to consider the Omaha and Mixed games where many players are new to that form of poker.

The rake at Full Tilt Poker is slightly higher than the industry average with a 5% rake collected in tight intervals. Full Tilt Poker has a "no flop - no drop" rake policy, like most sites. A maximum of $1 is taken out of the pots up to $1/$2 games. At higher limits, $2/$4 and above, Full Tilt Poker has a max rake of $3 and the rake structure is similar to most other sites.

Both support time and quality are very good at Full Tilt Poker and e-mails are often answered almost immediately. Some support lag has been known to occur at times, however, due to the high influx of players.
